It’s a website offering money off coupons for a range of everyday goods. Unlike some sites that simply allow you to print the coupons yourself, you have to register with wishvalue and then order the coupons you want. They're sent through the post to your home (or registered address).
And that's it. Simple! But I guess you want to know more?
Wishvalue.com is a relatively new website owned by a marketing services company [NCH], who claim to be the UK's leading processor of coupons.
On arrival at the homepage of wishvalue you'll see it's not the most attractive or innovative of website designs, but it's functional - fast to load, clearly laid out so you can see what you want to see and access what interests you - which to my mind is more important.
The coupon categories are listed on the left side of the page, and to the right you'll see a basket to which your coupons can be added and a running total of savings kept. Along the top and bottom of the page are links to various bits of site information, and the remainder of the page shows some of the coupons currently on offer.
Despite registration being required in order to receive the coupons, you can browse the entire site as a guest. Great idea as that enables you to view what's on offer, read the FAQs and privacy statement etc before you commit to giving out your personal details.
If you do decide to take advantage of the coupons on offer, simply add them to your basket. Some of the coupons are limited to one claim per household, or one per day/week etc, but details of any restrictions can be found by clicking on the coupon itself.
Anyway, when you've got the coupons you want just request them and you are taken to the registration/log-in page. If you're new to the site you'll be required to register which involves giving you name, address, DOB, email address and a password for future log-in. If you're revisiting just log-in using your email addie and password. Once registered, or on a return visit after logging in, you just confirm the details for your vouchers to be sent is correct and that's it.
I registered at the site and ordered my first lot of coupons on the Sunday morning. They arrived in the post on Tuesday, and I was pleased to see they were valid for 3 months. [I also got an email confirmation of my order and a notification of its dispatch with a contact address should the coupons not arrive]
So, all good so far! But are there any bad points?
The site boasts a varied list of partner names from which the coupon offers are currently stemming. At present there are 20 partners including Patak's Foods Limited, L'Oreal (UK) Ltd, and Wyeth Consumer Healthcare. Trouble is, the actual coupons on offer are few in number.
The categories in which the coupons are listed are health & beauty, groceries, and leisure. Across all of those categories the combined number of coupons on offer at the mo is just 11. A little disappointing! I also found that when visiting on consecutive days, few of the offers had changed.
In defence though, the FAQ section addresses the above issues with the following statements:
"Will there be other categories with offers? We certainly hope so. As wishvalue develops and more and more offers are available, we shall develop the site to include other categories and other types of offers and savings."
"How often will the offers change? To start with the offers are likely to change on a fortnightly or a monthly basis. As the site progresses this will speed up to weekly and even daily changes."
All in all, I can't find any major faults with the site or the concept. Although limited choice at present, they are still offering something for nothing and you've little to lose by checking it out.
Wishvalue is wholly owned by NCH Marketing Services Ltd. The site was set up in September 2002. NCH Is the UK's leading coupon processor and, for over 30 years, has provided innovative marketing solutions for retailers and big brand manufacturers.
Advantages: Free stuff! Disadvantages: Not all that much of it
I adore free stuff. I don't care what it is, as long as it costs me nothing. Free samples, free gifts, money off vouchers, you name it, I'll get it.
When doing my regular weekly trawl through freebie websites, I came across one called 'Wish Value'. A website offering money off vouchers on various things. Website address: www.wishvalue.com
The idea is a simple one, complete the registration form, giving the usual information: name, address, E-mail ... ...your choice.
~*~Appearance~*~
Enter the website into your address bar and you are taken to a bright green, white and navy page with 'WishValue' written in the top left corner of the page, with the star in a square logo.
There is a section at the top labelled 'New User? Click Here' and you can register with the website and start saving.
There are various boxes and things to click on including recipe ideas and a competition.
Quite a simple format ...

Advantages: Free money off coupons Disadvantages: not many available
I love a freebie, and who doesn’t? I have known about this site for a while, though never really ventured because I felt at the time it lacked enough material to keep my attention. But recently I read an opinion which shouted it glories, and then I proceeded to read a highly respected members opinion which seemed to confirm this trail of thought.
