Wordox has to be the best game there is to play on the internet! It is basically scrabble with a few extra's.
If you want a site where you can play, chat, meet people and generally have a great time then won net's wordox is it.
I have been using the site for about 7 or 8 months now and I have to say what a friendly bunch of people they are. You will find mostly the same people most nights and we've seen love affairs blossom, babies being born, ... ...game of scrabble.
The best thing about the site is that as it's a word game most of the people are reaonably intelligent and there are very few 'bad' people to be found.
There is also a swear filter in place so it is safe and fun for children too.

Advantages: Great fun and stimulating for the little grey cells! Disadvantages: Dictionary can be annoying at times!!!
I first played Wordox a few weeks ago having read the articles on this site and I simply have to add my own comments. The game is brilliant. It combines the lexical skills of Scrabble with the strategic know-how of Othello to provide an excellent and addictive game.
The aim is to create words from the letters in your hand as in Scrabble within the allotted time limit but, at the same time, one is also trying to alter the colour of words already ... ...as part of your own word. This not only adds points to your score, it also takes points away from the opponent who created the original word.
There are two main frustrations with this game. Firstly, when you play a brilliant word and then someone else comes along and build across from the first four letters to create four 2 letter words and another word down, thereby taking away four points from you and adding them to their own score.
