I ordered some PC software. Woolworths delivered the package without the software successfully within a couple of days. Having returned the empty DVD box via special delivery I am still waiting for a refund for special delivery and the envelope. They have refunded me for the envelope (£0.59) but not the special delivery as they have lost the receipt. 10 emails later the issue has still not been resoleved. Consequently I have to send in the special delivery slip again. ...

I decided this year to do as much of my Christmas shopping as possible on-line and having a rough idea of what I wanted I logged onto Woolworths.
After locating all my items, which was surprisingly easy, I proceeded to the checkout and paid, was told delivery could take upto 7 days.
My order confirmation email arrived immediately and 36 hours later so did the email telling me it had been despatched. However that same day the recent Postal strike ... ...email from Woolworths telling me that due to the strike my package had been delayed in the Royal Mail sorting office, but would be with me as soon as possible after the strike had finished.
Sure enough within 24 hours of the strike ending my package arrived with all my order.
Although the order didn't arrive within the time scale Woolworths advice this was completely out of their control and they kept me informed as to why it was being delayed.

Advantages: Cheap prices, easy to navigate site to find what you're looking for fast Disadvantages: Hold ups at christmas
At christmas when I was doing my shopping I was atempting to a big percentage of it online as I had just had a baby and hated the thought of treking round the busy shops with a pram. I got hold of a woollies catalogue but after days of trying to get through on the phone I gave up and clicked on there website instead. I found everything that I was looking for from a bath spa to a bob the builder talking scoop. I found the site very easy to navigate ... ...ideas for you , You just type in age range and price brackets. When I placed my order I was assured that it would reach me in three days time. Because it was quite a large order I was quite worried when a week had gone by and I still hadn't recieved it. Advantages: Plenty of choice, bright and cheerful website Disadvantages: Poor ordering system and delivery

However, I was not leaving it to the last minute and Christmas was about three weeks away.
The site was reasonably easy to navigate and the search facility quickly led me to the products that I was ... ...and matching Wellington Boots. I found the online ordering facility was easy to use, and I quickly completed the order and received prompt acknowledgement that it had been received. I was advised that my order would be delivered in 3 days, and that a email would be sent advising me when the items were dispatched.
However, after a week I received a letter to advise me that due to overwhelming demand before Christmas, the order would be late arriving. ...
