Speech and Language Therapy – my experience Many people benefit from speech and language therapy every day… My daughter was referred to a speech and language therapist when she was in nursery school because she had a speech problem (she said things such as ‘tower’ instead of ‘shower’). Her speech greatly improved after just one block of therapy and you wouldn’t know she’d ever had a speech problem (she’s a young adult now).
