BACKGROUND ********************* I am buying loads on the net. I have been doing so for the past 2-3 years, and I spent loads online. I use Ebay, I use online shops. Why? If you want to actually receive your laptop then don't order it from these amateurs. I place an internet order on Tuesday evening, it was processed Wednesday morning and they called me on a land line to confirm who I was - all going so well. I paid extra for a Saturday delivery between 9 and 1. Saturday came, no delivery by 14:30 so I thought I would call up, customer services closes at 14:00, so nobody to speak to. Was getting very frustrated and ...
...5, they told me to call the customer service number, can you believe it, they told me to call a number they knew wouldn't be answered. Called up customer services Monday morning, took 30 mins in a queue to get through, then explained the problem. Was told someone in another location couldn't find my order - unbelievable! UPDATE!( i havent received a refund yet although i sent many emails and called many times. i was promised to receive my money back 4 days ago. the funny thing is, today i received an email from them apologizing for the delay and telling me that i will get a refund as soon as i return my order to them. do u believe that?) still waiting for the end of this nightmare. . . oh god! here i am trying to tell about my experience with laptops direct when ...
...else 15! months ago!!! so the so called company hasnt improved for 15 months! ok, i ordered a toshiba HD DVD player for 200 pounds plus 10 pounds delivery charges. i received an email telling me that my order has been dispatched. a week later i found a card from the delivery company which says that i wasnt home at the time of the delivery and that i have to call and reschedule another delivery date before 4 working days. so i called the NEXT day ... Just ... awful. This company immediately took my money and "confirmed" that my order had been sent. More than a month later I have nothing to show for it. They do not answer the phone or reply to letter or emails. I'm having to write to my credit-card company to get my money back.

I ordered a bundle from Lap tops Direct. It came promptly BUT one small item was missing.Could happen to any company. BUT their custonmer service is appalling. Despite 8 emails & 5 phone calls I have got nowhere. They are not interested once they have the payment. I can only presume they don't want any repeat customers.
