www.mumsopinions.co.uk is a service which pays you for taking part in market research surveys! Yes that's right you get paid for doing surveys what could be better? I can't really remember how I came to know about this site but I must say that I find it wonderful and what is better than getting paid for your opinion? Typically surveys pay between £1-£2 which is redeemable in high street vouchers when you reach a limit of £10 you can cash this in. Surveys take around 20min but I do find that I complete surveys much quicker than the estimated time.
What is involved
Ok so you sign up to the site giving some personal details which are needed so that they can send you surveys that are relevant to you and your family, also your address is needed as they will need a correct address to send your vouchers out when you wish to redeem them. So you have signed up and you are waiting to answer some surveys and to do this you will receive an invitation through your email asking if you would like to take part in the recent survey. The e-mail will also contain details of how much you will be paid for the survey, what the survey is about and how long it is estimated that it will take you to complete but as I said before this really does depend on you as an individual. There is also a link on the e-mail that you will need to click on to start the survey and it is as easy as that.
The surveys
The surveys themselves are actually really straightforward and could not be easier to complete I will give you the survey I have literally just completed as an example. The survey I have just completed was on bounty and my beauty regime prior to being pregnant and comparing it to what it is now. The questions asked involved commenting on logos for bounty and describing how they made you feel and if you would be interested in finding out more about the company and what it offers. You get asked some questions and all you have to do is select the correct answer for you using your computer mouse. Occasionally there are questions that you need to type and answer to but these are generally short answers and does not need to much brain power to answer. During the survey there is a bar at the top of the screen which shows you your progress in the survey and tells you the percentage of questions that you have left to answer, so you always know where you are at during the survey. That is about it as far as the surveys go it really is straight forward.
Getting paid
Some people may be wary in the fact that they may think that they will not get paid but I can say that so far I have received two vouchers from boots of them and they do arrive very quickly, when I first joined you could redeem your vouchers at £5 but this has now been increased to £10 so it is taking longer to reach that target. I think that the price that you get paid for the surveys is very good as it's just simple questions that really do not take that much time to answer so there really is nothing to lose. Vouchers are redeemable for the following places:-
Amazon
Boots
HMV
Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Top Shop, Miss Selfridges, Top Man, Outfit, Wallace
John Lewis
Mother care
Tesco
Ocado
Waitrose wine direct
Disadvantages
To me the only disadvantage that I have with this whole site and process is that fact that surveys are not regular and you can be waiting a long time for a survey to be sent to you which is frustrating and the other thing is that you initially answer some questions to see if you are suitable for a survey and quite frequently it will say that you are not in the group that they need to survey which is really annoying. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone wanting to earn some extra money as it really is nice and easy and you have the added bonus that if you sign up at the moment you will get entered into a prize draw to win an I pod nanno.
Advantages: rewards for your opinions - easy surveys Disadvantages: none
I first found the mums opinions website when I was pregnant about 6 months ago. I found out about it from a referral from a friend. Mums opinions is an online site where you get paid for giving your opinion on something. This is done in the form of surveys and you don't have to write any reviews or anything time consuming. It is open to anyone who is pregnant or has a child under 2 years old.
Once you are registered and have filld in your personal ... ...surveys. The surveys are usually offered a few times a month. The only drawback is you don't get paid in cash. You do however have a choice of how you get paid in the form of vouchers. You can chose to be paid in vouchers for Boots, Mothercare, Amazon.co.uk, HMV, WHSmith or Tesco so there should be something of use to everyone who signs up. You can also choose for you money to be paid direct to a charity of your choice if you wish.
When you are ...
