I only wish I'd googled parcel2go before picking them to send a big box of Christmas presents to my relatives.
Wed 14th December 2005: Book a collection through their website, receive confirmation of payment through Worldpay but nothing from P2G.
Thurs 15th December: Wait for P2G to arrive to collect box, no one arrives by mid afternoon so call customer services. Finally get through to someone after 10 mins waiting on hold only to be told that my order 'skipped the system' and they would book it in for Friday.
Friday 16th Dec: 2pm, no one has arrived so I call customer services again. They say my collection isn't booked in for today. At this point I'm getting a little irritated so they put me on hold and tell me they'll check 'the tray'. They come back to say, sorry yes it is booked in and they aren't able to check with the depot to ask where the driver is until 3pm and to call back then if no one has arrived by then.
Call back at 3pm, speak to someone else who tells me the collection isn't even booked for today but they can book it in for Mon 19th. It's at this point that I cancel the collection completely as I'm worried if they don't turn up on the Monday that I'll have missed last posting dates for other companies and at Christmas, my parcel is pretty important.
It's at this point I ask for a refund. I'm told they can't do it over the phone and that I'd need to send an email which I've done....6 times now without reply. So, almost one month later I'm still waiting for a refund or even just a reply.
I'd like to say this is an isolated case but a quick search on the internet would suggest not.
I'll be avoiding this company at all costs in the future.
