Have had my bad moments with this company but after a year now with them I can't really complain. The bad experiences came in the early days with Parcels to go. They contract out collections and deliveries to various companies. I used to use TNT, but after several items arrived broken I will now never use them again, avoid like the plague, they must drop parcels from a great height every time you send them.

Back to parcels2go and had several poor experiences when trying to claim compensation when TNT broke the item. Needed photos of parcel damage, inside packing, broken part and the driver pick-up document. I you haven't paid for insurance your claim is often rejected for ridiculous reasons (inadequate packing etc.). had one case go on for over 4 months but eventually wa awarded the compensation.

On the other hand, if you pay for compensation the process or award of compensation seems to be streamlined and not many quibbles, so it pays to add extra insurance to any delicate or potentially delicate (when dropped from a a great height) item.

Now for the good stuff, you have to wait in for most pick-ups, again avoid TNT as they could be anytime up till 7.00pm. I find Yodel to pick-up before noon on most occasions and have never had a broken or damaged item when sending with them. Parcel Force are also very prompt on pick-up times and good on delivery without damage. FedEx don't seem to leave you with any documentation apart from your on-line order, which can't be good if making a claim, as you will be asked or the driver pick-up notification. Never had to claim from FedEx but may be interesting if I do.!

In closing would certainly not discourage people from using Parcels2go but would take on board my comments regarding certain couriers.
