I first came across the Slingink website after being referred to it by a friend who was already a member and I must say I owe her a debt of gratitude. I have long-harboured a desire to write fiction but have never really committed to doing so. If you need a push in the 'write' direction, then this could be the place for you.
The site was formed from the remains of an online fiction writing course, but although some fo the members are trained in ... ...organisations, many are just enthusiastic, budding writers who have no experience at all (such as myself!).
The main thing about the site is that the members are a supportive bunch who go out of their way to encourage, push and sometimes downright bully other members into going that extra mile and writing something down, which is often difficult to do, and then giving honest opinions on what is good about it and what can be improved.
