whilst searching the Internet for ways to make money i came across Barclays site and there 10 ways to earn extra cash one of there tips was surveys and thinking the links was trusted because it is a big company(forgetting banks are never to be trusted and are only out to get your money, remember this!) i found surveyhawk at the top of the list for survey sites and was hesitant but in the end joined. i got a coupon from the site that linked to it so it cost me £15 to join (normally £18.)
the site for me was very misleading and i thought that i was joining a site that automatically registered me with 400+paying survey sites and that i had one account with them so all my earrings went into one pot instead of some coming in drips and drabs. I WAS WRONG!
first misleading thing- all it is is a database with links to 400+sites you have to register with each one! they give you a link to roboform so you can download that and do it quicker.
second misleading thing- not all sites are for UK residents so you only really get 200 or so which isn't too bad but still its a lot less than 400+
thirdly- not all the sites pay! some are just prizes or product trials and its not just one or two quite alot of them are just prizes
they offer you free membership with UK-wholesale- directory.co.uk so you can buy things at wholesale prices im not sure what as i didn't appeal to me. and then some free-ebooks which arent that great.
on the site that linked to it and said it was the best it claimed a 45day money back but there's no were on the site that tells you how to get it and i bet e-mailing them will not help.
The site its self isn't that bad its east to navigate and looks average and simple, its split into 6 sections: home-standard home page with links to database. database-links to database bonus-links and info on the 5 bonuses you get software-link to software mystery shopper-links to companies who pay you to shop?! (probably another scam) home business+- some link to a guy who makes money on the net and wrote? googlecash? (scam probably as they want more money for it)
i guess it is easier than finding hundreds of real paying survey sites for yourself but when its so misleading and not even that many are cash surveys i advise you to avoid this site there are more out there that do it for free.
BUT the worst thing is i have only received a small amount of surveys from these companies i know it takes a while to get going but its been a few weeks now. I'm and just really annoyed.
so don't join this site is is basically a scam in my eyes and if you want a database of survey sites don't pay for it find a free one or asked your friends, out of all the sites on the database CIAO! was is the only one I'm making money with at the moment and my friend referred it to me.
so all in all i do not rate this site very highly at all, there are site that do this for free and all the bonuses(software,e-books) are free anyway or are not that good.
obivously you don't understand le'business
that information for £18 is a bargain
you have to spend money to make money.
look at you guys, your never gonna make money if you keep thinking like that
Looks like you've saved a few people a bit of expense including me.
I regularly do online surveys and there are quite a few decen companies who provide decent rewards (better than Ciao) and they pay.
I usually collect £50 - £100 per month in cash and High St. vouchers so if you're interested leave a GB message and I will send over a few links and information. Most are aimed at 18+ but there are exceptions.
Good luck
Andy

Thanks, I was just about to join this site after seeing an ad in the recent SKY magazine. Will avoid now. Lx
