I came across this website while I was searching the web for information about Holistic Therapies.

I had visited a site called 'Holistic Pages' and there included in the list of links was 'The Healing Pool'

the actual URL for The Healing Pool is www.thehealingpool.org and this takes you to an opening page full of information and links to various holistic therapies and associated information.

I was drawn to the name of this site because The Healing Pool is mentioned in the Bible and I guess that is where the site owners got the name from.

The first page of this site has several banner advertisements for other sites, such as Paul McKenna, Likisma Aromatherapy Products, Holistic Pages, Google Adsense, New World Music, and Amazon.

There are links to other pages on the site offering information on Reflexology.Aromatherapy, Indian Head massage, Reiki, Crystal Healing, Ayurveda, Books, Music, Newsletter, and a link to a forum on Yahoo which offers advice and help on various therapies.

I visited each of the pages in turn and found that they all had the same basic layout, which was quite helpful in navigating around the site.

I was particularly interested in Aromatherapy, so I spent most of my time on this page. Here there is also a link to another page which advises on which oil(s) to use for various listed conditions. I found this very interesting and helpful.

The book shop and the music shop both link through to Amazon with a very professional presentation of books or music in the selected genre. I thought this was a very good idea for the site, and very informative.

The forum link appears to be quite new as there are not many entries there but the idea is a good one. If you have a question about any of the holistic therapies you can ask it on the forum and either the site owner (who is a qualified therapist) or another subscriber, will answer your quastion for you.

I am sure this will prove to be very popular as word gets around of its existence.

On the whole I enjoyed looking around the site, I found the information I had been looking for, I learnt something new, and I found a new place to have my questions answered.

Well done The Healing Pool - highly recommended.
