I have used this website several times, when Octopustravel has proved to be a few pounds more expensive....hey- look after the pennies, etc... They seem to have more or less the same database of hotels and you can compare prices before booking! SO how do you get onto the site? Simple- it's totalstay.com and the page that comes up tells you that there are over 19,000 hotels to chose from...hand the next page has various choices for you to make. ...

The site has an excellent search engine including late bookings and will show the price in your own currency (to save you having to convert from Euros / Dollars etc) of the room for the number of nights you are staying. ...can search for last minute bookings as most hotels will show whether they have availability on the dates requested so that you don't have to send off an enquiry form and wait anxiously for a response. We had no problems with the payment and simply had to show a printout of our booking confirmation (though we didn't really need this as they had our names). Disadvantages: Dreadful Customer Services and Refund Policy

Having used this company to attempt to find suitable accom in Hamburg this year I was required to alter my reservation. TotalStay chose to withold all monies in total denial of their published terms and conditions. In spite of their stating that there were "special" conditions applying to my reservation they were not able to prove this true. Nonetheless, monies were not refunded and I remain nearly 300 Pounds out of pocket. I would never do business ...

I have used the Totalstay website for a number of month now and I finally booked a stay with them for May this year. The booking went perfectly, the account system that totalstay use works great, this means that when you are doing all your paperwork prior to going away you just need to login and print off the booking voucher - couldn't be simpler!
