I was sitting here On-Line thinking of something that the Family could do together and as I'd driven through a couple of Low Level 1-5" deep Fords, I thought I'd have a look to see if anyone had tried to find and show all of them in my Area!
So I went on Google and Found something straight away! And with a Site Name of

I thought it was worth a look!

Right away on the Home Page it's Explained that this is only a Guide and not every single Ford Listed will be on a Public Right of Way! BUT with 1717 Fords now Identified and Listed
including an extra 28 Overseas Fords (including Tidal & Splashthrough) listed You know that you'll find a good one close to you!

Out of the 1717 Fords Listed, 1619 are Full Listings with Pictures!!!

At the Top of the Page there's Tabs to click through to

An Interactive "Map" showing the Counties where Listed Fords are available to View

A "Forum" for wetroads Fans to discuss anything (More on that in a moment)

A "GIS" Section for GPS Co-Ordinates and a Download for the Full List of Fords

A "Guidelines" Section which covers things from Equipment & Preperation for Fording to What to do if You Stall to Night-Fording

A "Tidal Roads" Section which Displays All of the Listed Roads that Flood with Salt-Water

Well worth joining if you like to get your Car,Bike,Wellies or feet wet!

In here you can Do anything from Say Hi to everyone else To Discussing Fords worldwide.

You can put Warnings up if you hear of something happening like one Member posted about Residents near a Ford in Bakewell complaining to Police about Fordies or even Co-ordinate Conversions for GPS.

In another Section you can Talk about where you are and even arrange to meet fellow Fordies and go out together to get wet and have a laugh!

All in all, A very Suprising Site, it's still relativly an Unknown but with Advertising and Links with the FronteraOwners Members The Forum is gaining more Members every. It's a totally Free Site and as the Owner States
