xperteleven is an online football management game where you are responsible for every aspect of your teams performance.

Once you have signed up (which is an easy process) you can join one of the many official public leagues which are run by experienced members of the site. You are allocated a team of 16 players (two goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders and four forwards) who you will need to train, develop and organise into a winning team.

It sounds like a big task but once you get going it really is very easy. You get a set amount of money each week to spend on training or you can save it to buy new players for your squad.

Once you have your team sorted you need to set your tactics for your match. You can choose a formation, methods of defence and attack, which of your opponents player to man-mark and loads more.

This is a highly addictive game which draws its appeal from its simplicity. If you really want delve deeper you can, some members on the site use mathematical equations to try and figure out how the results generator works but thats far too complicated for me and detracts from the fun of it all. The one major drawback is that it will be extremely difficult (if not impossible) to compete with teams that have been established for some time. I've been doing ok, working my way up the ranks but I know that pretty soon, my team will be up against the big boys and I'll come unstuck.

You can pay a small fee to get VIP access which means you have access to more statistics that other members and can add logos to your team.
