I joined this site through a referral off a friend on play and win, so thought well it's free so I may as well check it out. So here is all the information on it.

How do I join?

Basically Yuwie pay so much out each month to their users, they can afford to do this through their advertising on the site, most of what they make they pay back to the users.

You earn money by page views that you get and pictures that are views and also if your blogs are viewed. The more visits you get then the more you can earn, It is not much that people earn it is only small amounts but they can add up and it all depends on views you have had.

You also make money from the people that you refer, this is a great thing because if you refer someone and they get profile visits you also get paid for their views, also if they refer someone you get paid for your referral plus their referrals. Their referral would be on a level 2 whereas your referral is a level one. These levels go all the way up to 10. So you need to get your referrals to refer also which is where you can start earning a lot more money. You can view your referral tree at any time in your control panel, this will show you who you have referred and who your referrals have referred also. For 539 views I earned a huge $0.03 not a lot but there is 468,140 members as of when I wrote this, so if you do spend a lot of time on your computer then you could make it worth your while.

How do you get paid and when?

Yuwie work out your earnings each month, you can find out what you have earned from the control panel under earnings. These can be paid by either a cheque or by using pay pal.

What can you do on the site?

On your profile you have a shout box, in here you can basically put anything, I have some games on it that people can play when viewing my page, but you can just put in what ever you want.

There is a section to write blogs, you can write as many as you want but only the last 3 are shown on your page people have to click on view all blogs to see them all, so I would advise to only do a few at a time to get more views on them. You can also add music and videos.

There is also a messaging system, you can either email them or there is also an instant messaging service on the site. You can leave comments on others users pages, which will earn you more page views, because more often than not they will check your page out also.

What are views and how can I get them?

Views are basically when people check out your profile, that would be classed as one view, then if they read one of your blogs that would be another and so on, anything that is clicked on to open is classed as a page view. There is also a rate button on your profile page, when anyone rates you then you will get another page view. Whenever you get a comment left, an email or a rating you will get a message on your control panel that will stay there until you have check out what it is.

How do I get friends on Yuwie if I do not know a lot of people?

With this being a paying site then you will get literally anyone and everyone adding you to friends, this will also be shown on your control panel and you do need to click accept or decline, also if you want to randomly add anyone click on search, then click online as they are the best ones to add, as you know they are active on the site. 9 times out of 10 they will accept you as it means more views for them also. I have 270 friends on there at the moment and I only know about 5 of them loll, but hey more friends is more money, just remember do not give out too much personal information to the ones you do not know.

So surely there has to be bad points?

Yes there is, on the site you get a lot of pop-ups, but do not forget really these are what pay us. The main thing that did really annoy me is whenever you get a friend request, email, comment or rating then I would be sent an email to my own personal email inbox. They do not send them in one bulk email either, every single email is separate. On my first day of joining I ended up with nearly 200 email messages in my own email, and I did find it annoying that I had them all to delete. This can be changed though, but you are not told about it, you need to navigate around the site first, so this is on of the things you should do before you start off with anything. On the left hand side you will find account settings here you can change email, password, time zone etc. Most importantly you can change your notification settings, I would switch them all to off as there is no need to have an email sent out each time you get anything on the site.

My personal thoughts on Yuwie?

Well overall it is a good site, very easy to navigate, although you o have to look around and get to know where things are. I think this really is a site that to make it worth your while you do have to spend a lot of time on, and also get quite a few referrals to join. I would not have any major complaints as its money for nothing but browsing really, although I do tend to get bored at times. It is a fast growing site alone today it had over 1000 new members join and its like that most days, I would say to sign up try it out for a month if you do not like it and you find you are not making much, then you have not really lost anything as it is free, so why not just try it out for yourselves. If you like Bebo you will like this site, and you get paid for doing it unlike Bebo.
