Advantages: Free, actually they ask for a SMALL donation Disadvantages: Can't think of any
They ask you for a small donation if you can afford it. By default you get 5 Mb when creating an account. For each US dollar you donate you get 125 points. Every month your account is automatically deducted 100 points. If you ever go below -200 points (minus two hundred points) your disk space will be reduced to 1 Mb. But "is still free to use for all of you poor people out there with absolutely no money", like me.
It contains ... ...bottom of the directory page window. After you log on a small window (the directory page window) pops up containing all the features available: bookmarks, address book, notes, disk storage, search. I find the search facility redundant. I like the "notes" feature the most. It allows the creation of a file with practically unlimited characters per note file. It's good if you use it to draft manuscripts, story writing, thesis, long letters, ... more

It contains practically no advertising except for a small banner at the bottom of the directory page window. After you log on a small window (the directory page window) pops up containing all the features available: bookmarks, address book, notes, disk storage, search. I find the search facility redundant. I like the "notes" feature the most. It allows the creation of a file with practically unlimited characters per note file. It's good if you use it to draft manuscripts, story writing, thesis, long letters, etc. You can edit them online wherever you go, on any computer, no need to carry a diskette. Although the "notes" feature does not function like a wordprocessor.
The good thing about the pop up feature is it doesn't obstruct the window which you are currently working on. The not so good thing is you have to close the working window to look for the directory page window, which, depending on the computer you use, can pop up anywhere on the screen.
For the time being the features load quite fast. If the number of free users increases and they take up too much bandwidth I have no idea what would happen.
For a poor man like me who cannot afford paid commercial online storage, for the time being, Znail is the best available. What worries me most is whether the company will start charging compulsory fees for usage. The last time I used Xdrive when they were free when I signed up, I lost all my files when they started charging fees and I couldn't afford to pay.
