An e-mail account that pays you? Sounds good I thought!

I needed to set up another e-mail account as part of an experiment that would be likely to generate a lot of e-mail, much of it junk, so an account that paid seemed like a good idea.

zWallet.com is easy to sign up to, and easy to use, the site seems pretty quick too.

However it does seem slow to receive mail, I have had mail take several hours to arrive, even though I know it has been sent OK!
There have also been some reports that their servers bounce a lot of mail, some other services refuse to accept zwallet addresses because of the problems it causes.

Below is a typical connect session to a zWallet server, a response delay of 4 minutes results in a deferred connection, which means that the sending server will have to keep trying:

61.187.42], stat=Deferred: Connection reset by mail2.zwallet.com.

In conclusion if you need a free mailbox for low priority mail or for sifting junk mail then you may as well have one that pays! Give it a go.
For important mail, choose something else!
