Zwallet is a get paid to email scheme. The idea is that the user gets paid for each e-mail they send and read. They also get paid for referals and get a certain percentage for each e-mail they send and read. The first disadvantage is that they pay in dollars and don't pay out until your balance reaches $20. The first thing which made me suspicious of the site was that they didn't say how much they paid in per e-mail read or sent. This apparently is because it depends how many adverts they are hosting on the site and now many people click on them and do business with the advertisers as to how much money they make and then can pass onto the user. I accepted this as a valid reason and signed up.
Since then I have used my zwallet address as my main e-mail address and tried hard to get referals. I have had quite limited success in this managing only to refer my sister. I signed up for zwallet at the end of March and have earned half a dollar. This figure does include this month or last months earnings. This shows that zwallet is not going to be a major cash earner, which I wouldn't mind, but service is poor.
The start page takes quite a long time to load up at the best of times, but if I am downloading any songs at the same time I can go away and make a cup of tea and come back and the page will still sometimes not have finished opening. Reading e-mails takes a long time as each one takes ages to open.
The inbox e-mails are listed oldest first which means that if you are the sort of person who keeps e-mails the new mails are not on the first page you see when you open the inbox. Being that kind of person this means that I have to move onto the next page to read my new mail which would not be a problem if it wasn't so slow.
If all this wasn't enough the service is not very reliable. I have sent e-mails and wondered why I haven't had a reply, only to find that the person I sent it to hasn't even received it. Sometimes a reply has been written and I haven't received it. People sending me e-mail have got mail delivery failure messages saying that their e-mails couldn't be sent to me. Two days later I find the supposedly impossible to deliver e-mail in my inbox.
If all this still hasn't put you off please sign up using my referrer id

I signed up to this about a month ago and have signed up for offers etc but have not had any cash in my account yet. The offers dont even show up. I have freeserve which is really slow, but the email pages on my PC open really quickly (so far). I tried to email customer help desk about a query a month ago but they never replied!

Great review! I totally agree, BTW, Zwallet is more trouble than it's worth. I would add that zwallet addresses are often bounced back and are rarely accepted by mailing lists (there's often a note saying "no zwallet addresses please - they don't work).

A good analysis of a service I have heard much about. Interesting and informative, cheers, Timmy.
